Delta Construction Consultants Ltd provided Registered Building Control Approver services for the construction of a new petrol forecourt station for Valli Forecourts in Stanley, Durham. The new development was designed to provide a modern and efficient facility serving the local community, with the project opening in autumn 2025.

The project involved the construction of a new-build petrol filling station, requiring careful consideration of the specialist requirements associated with a forecourt development. The design and construction incorporated the necessary facilities and infrastructure to support the safe and effective operation of the site, alongside consideration of the relevant Building Regulations.

The project was designed by ADS Design, who led the concept and planning of the development, with construction undertaken by McFadden Building & Civil Engineering Ltd. Delta worked alongside the client, contractor and wider project team to provide Building Control oversight throughout the construction process.

Our role involved providing professional Building Regulations advice and compliance oversight, supporting the project team in addressing the technical requirements associated with the new-build development. Careful coordination between the design, construction and Building Control teams was essential to ensure that the works progressed in accordance with the approved proposals and relevant regulatory requirements.

The project brought together Valli Forecourts, ADS Design, McFadden Building & Civil Engineering Ltd and The Jordon Group, with Delta Construction Consultants Ltd providing Building Control services as part of the wider professional team.
