As a Registered Building Control Approver, Delta Construction Consultants provides Building Control services for domestic projects of all sizes. We review plans, carry out inspections at key stages of construction, and offer practical guidance throughout to help ensure compliance with Building Regulations from start to finish.
How Domestic Building Control Works

Once instructed, we will notify the relevant Local Authority that Delta Construction Consultants has been appointed as the Building Control Approver for your project.

Our team will review the submitted drawings and supporting information to identify any areas requiring amendments or further consideration to achieve Building Regulations compliance.

As work progresses, we will carry out inspections at key stages of the build to monitor compliance with Building Regulations. Inspection stages may include:
Foundations and excavation
Damp proof course installation
Drainage works
Structural elements and other key construction stages

When the project is complete, we will undertake a final inspection. Subject to satisfactory completion of the works and receipt of all required documentation, a Final Certificate will be issued as confirmation that the project complies with the applicable Building Regulations.
