Delta Construction Consultants Ltd provided Registered Building Control Approver services for the internal fit-out of an existing warehouse unit at Valley Park, Leeds, transforming the space to create a specialist clinical support facility for the healthcare sector.

The project involved the adaptation of an existing commercial warehouse environment to accommodate the specific operational requirements of a clinical facility. The internal fit-out required careful consideration of the proposed use, building services, accessibility, fire safety and the relevant Building Regulations, ensuring that the existing space could be effectively adapted to meet the needs of the end users.

The works were undertaken by Bassaire Cleanrooms Ltd and designed by P+HS Architects, with Delta working alongside the wider project team to provide Building Control oversight throughout the development. Our role involved providing professional advice on Building Regulations compliance and supporting the project team in addressing the technical requirements associated with the conversion and internal fit-out.

The project brought together West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Bassaire Cleanrooms Ltd, P+HS Architects and Tudorharp Ltd, requiring close collaboration between the client, contractor, design team and Building Control throughout the works.
