Delta Construction Consultants Ltd provided Building Control services for the construction of a new multi-functional race circuit facility at Blyton Park Driving Centre in Lincolnshire, supporting the development from construction through to successful completion.

The new facility was designed to enhance both the operational capabilities and hospitality offering of the circuit, providing a modern and practical space capable of meeting the demands of a busy motorsport venue. The development formed part of Blyton Park’s continued investment in its facilities as an established UK testing and track day destination.

The completed building includes two premium client entertainment garages, providing high-specification hospitality space with direct access to the trackside. A further five general race day garages provide dedicated space to support competitors, events and day-to-day circuit operations.

The facility also incorporates a first and second floor watchtower, providing elevated panoramic views across the circuit and creating an important viewing and observation point for events. The building has been designed with a strong focus on practicality and durability, ensuring that it can withstand the demands of a busy motorsport environment while providing a modern and high-quality finish.

Construction was undertaken by Sutcliffe Construction and LNT Construction, with the project designed by LNT Care Developments on behalf of Blyton Park Driving Centre. Delta worked alongside the client, contractors and design team to provide Building Control oversight throughout the development and support compliance with the relevant Building Regulations.

The project required careful consideration of the building’s varied uses, including hospitality areas, race day garages and elevated viewing facilities. Delta’s involvement provided professional Building Control advice throughout the works, helping the wider project team to address the relevant technical and regulatory requirements as construction progressed.
